Protecting your data matters to us. Below we explain which personal data we process when you visit this website and send us a request, for what purpose, and what rights you have. The basis is the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

2. Data you provide to us

When you write to us via the contact form or the booking request form, we process the details you enter: name, email address, phone number (optional), preferred apartment, arrival and departure dates, number of guests and your message. We use this information solely to answer your enquiry and to prepare a possible stay.

3. Data collected automatically on your visit

When you open this website, your browser transmits technically necessary information to our hosting provider Netlify (Netlify Inc., USA), in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested and your browser and operating system type. These server log files serve the secure operation of the website and are not combined with other data.

4. Cookies and browser storage

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser — neither for tracking nor for advertising nor for preferences. The language shown follows purely from the address you open (for example /en/ for English).

5. Third-party services

To display the website we embed the following external services. Your IP address is transmitted to the respective provider:

• Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland) – for the typefaces used on the website.
• Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland) – for the map on the contact page.

We have no influence over any further data processing by these providers. Their own privacy policies apply.

6. Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell your data and do not pass it on for advertising purposes. Your enquiry is received by the form service of our hosting provider Netlify (Netlify Inc., USA), stored there and forwarded to our mailbox. Data is only shared further where necessary to arrange your stay (for example, in the case of a booking, for the legally required guest registration with the competent authorities) or where we are legally obliged to do so.

7. Retention period

We keep your data only as long as required for the respective purpose or as statutory retention periods demand — for booking and invoicing records this is ten years in Switzerland. Mere enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted once they have been dealt with.

8. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. This website is transmitted in encrypted form (HTTPS). Complete protection of data transmitted over the internet is, however, not possible.

9. Your rights

You have the right to information about the personal data we process, as well as to have it corrected, deleted or handed over. You may also object to the processing. Simply contact us at the email address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

10. Changes

We may adapt this privacy policy at any time, for instance when we introduce new features. The version published here is always the applicable one.
